What a wonderful time to celebrate how great men fought, some lost their lives for the freedom of this country, for their families and  people they never knew.  But they believe in that which they fought for.  Remember in school "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."  It makes us proud to be who we are as a nation, but lets think did Jesus not fight for our spiritually independence on the cross? "The first freedom" . Did God not free us from the captivity of sin, man and ourselves that we all maybe equal? Christian friends what I am saying; the battle has already been won, we are born to win, that doesn't mean everyday is trouble free, but it is not your battle alone. Freedom belongs to you it is your birth  right. So, give thanks to God for Jesus for the cross of freedom, and thanks to the men that fought the battle for freedom.

Remember, we can become independent any day...just give it to God, whatever the fight maybe and be free.
